The PC version has you start in your city generally with three lines and three locations, though after each week in game time you will be given the option for upgrades to select including new lines, tunnels, locomotives, passenger cars or upgrading stations. To play you are given a number of locomotives and rail lines you can build. In Mini Motorways, the player has to draw a functioning road network. Overall it’s a very satisfying evolution of the previous game’s visuals that feels new and unique while still maintaining the feel of the original. If too many shapes build up at one station waiting to be picked up by a train, the game is over. If Mini Metro looked like a subway map, Motorways looks a bit more like a board game. Over time, more stations will appear on the map to be built into your subway system. iPhone iPad iMessage Mini Metro, the sublime subway simulator, now on iPhone and iPad. Each small shape is trying to reach a station that matches its shape. Each large shape is a station where people, indicated by small, black shapes, will appear. The game is about building a subway system.
